This is a photograph I had lost all references to and, at the instant of its rediscovery, I was reminded why it had made such a deep impression on me two or three years ago.
Some of you may know this photograph, but many of you will not. If you do, please do not spill the beans. If you do not, I would love to hear your impressions from just looking at it. After all, this is how I first engaged the image and how I believe we should engage all images at the outset. A photograph isn’t words. It isn’t an explanation. It just ‘is’. Words come later.
*Please comment… just talk, whether you love it or hate it, but most importantly, please share ‘why’. This lies at the core of what photography is for me: different minds taken to radically different, or similar, places by the same ‘thing’.*
